If you’re new here, I’m George. I read tarot out of St. Catharines, Ontario. I’ve followed horoscopes all my life. As a kid, I read Eugenia Last’s daily horoscope in the Toronto Sun, long before the internet, and she’s still my favourite. When I got into tarot, and then into creating content, it made sense to bring all three loves together. That’s how Tarotscopes came about. Every week I pull a pair of cards for each sign, one tarot and one oracle, from a different set of decks.

Tarotscopes used to live on YouTube and TikTok, both @dustarot. The old ones are still up if you want to look back. Each one took a full week to script, record and edit, and it wore me out. So I’m bringing them back in writing, which is quicker for you to read and a lot easier for me to make.

Here’s how they work. The tarot card is the main message for your sign, and the oracle card backs it up. Read your rising sign first, then your sun sign, and see how the two fit together. Use it to plan your week, not to predict it.

This one covers Sunday, October 4 to Saturday, October 10, 2026. The decks are The Light Seer’s Tarot by Chris-Anne and Wisdom of the Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid, with artwork by Jena DellaGrottaglia.

Two signs pulled the exact same pair this week, and yes, I really do shuffle. A few other cards turned up twice, too. When that happens, I take it as a sign the week has a point to make.

♈ Aries

The Devil and Unfinished Symphony

Aries, temptation and manipulation are the things to look out for this week. Look at the figure on The Devil, staring right at you with a hand held out, as if to say, “Trust me, I know what’s good for you.” He looks believable and alluring, but that’s temptation and manipulation at work. Those are the things to watch out for this week.

With Unfinished Symphony beside it, this may be coming up around unfinished business, or loose ends you still need to tie up. So when someone is telling you something that sounds too good to be true, trust your intention and your instincts, especially when things are unfinished and you’re looking for a quick answer. You like to move fast, Aries, and that’s when a shortcut looks its best.

Your words for this week: “I know what’s good for me, and I trust my instincts.”

♉ Taurus

Death and Rebirth and A Leg Up

Taurus, transformation is the order of the week. You like things steady and familiar, so don’t let the Death card scare you. This is a great time to accept a change that can alter your path for the better. Look at that shiny star beyond the forest. That star is the change, the transformation this card is about. When you’re in the thick of it, all you notice is the trees. Try to see the forest through the trees, Taurus, keep your eye on that star, and don’t let fear deter you.

A Leg Up backs this up. It suggests you have a support system to guide you through this transformation, so you don’t have to dig in and do it all on your own. Don’t be afraid to seek help and support from those around you.

Your words for this week: “I accept the change, and I accept the help.”

♊ Gemini

2 of Wands and Truth Be Told

Gemini, you are sitting on a decision that is going to affect your surroundings. Look at the figure on the 2 of Wands, staring out the window. You’re thinking about relocating or changing your environment, maybe letting go of people or places that are no longer serving you. You can see both sides of anything, Gemini, and that can keep you sitting at that window a long time. Now it’s time to act.

Truth Be Told backs this up by revealing the truth in your decision. Be honest with yourself about what you want, then have a frank discussion with those around you about what your intentions are. Talking is what you do best, so use it.

Your words for this week: “I say what I intend, and then I act on it.”

♋ Cancer

The Hierophant and Message in a Bottle

Cancer, it’s time to tap in and reconnect. Look at the staircase on The Hierophant. It leads up to your Higher Self, the Divine or God, whatever suits your faith. Maybe lately you’ve been disconnected. You spend so much of yourself looking after everyone else that your own quiet time is the first thing to go. This week is a good time to reconnect.

Message in a Bottle is telling you that a pleasant surprise may be waiting for you, something you need to hear or see, or a sign to get you through this week. You’re more likely to notice it when you’re connected, so keep your eyes and ears open.

Your words for this week: “I make time to reconnect, and I watch for the signs.”

♌ Leo

8 of Pentacles and Happy, Happy

Leo, it looks like all that hard work is paying off this week. The 8 of Pentacles is about putting in the hours and doing the job properly, and you’ve done that. As we move through the moon’s waning phase, you’re winding down the projects and tasks you’ve been working on. You put your whole heart into what you do, Leo, so let yourself be proud of it.

Happy, Happy says it all, and it comes as a big relief, right as the long weekend starts for some of you. Doesn’t it feel good to have a fresh start for the following week?

Your words for this week: “I did the work, and I let myself enjoy it.”

♍ Virgo

8 of Pentacles and Happy, Happy

Virgo, I really did shuffle the cards, and you still got the same pair as Leo. It looks like all that hard work is paying off for you too, as you wind down projects and tasks through the moon’s waning phase. The 8 of Pentacles is your kind of card: careful work, done properly. The catch for you, Virgo, is knowing when it’s finished. You can always find one more thing to fix. This week, let done be done.

Happy, Happy is the reward for that. The relief shows up once you put the work down, and for some of you the long weekend is a good reason to. Enjoy the fresh start for the following week.

Your words for this week: “It’s done, it’s good, and I can put it down.”

♎ Libra

9 of Wands and Truth Be Told

Libra, you are facing an obstacle this week, but it’s nothing you can’t handle. Look at the short fence on the 9 of Wands. This card is about determination and the final push, and you have more of both than you give yourself credit for. So what is stopping you from just climbing over that fence? You like to weigh every side before you move, Libra, and that can leave you standing there longer than you need to.

Truth Be Told reinforces this. The truth is what you already know deep down, that you can do it. Time to cross the threshold.

Your words for this week: “I know I can do this, so I climb over the fence.”

♏ Scorpio

9 of Wands and Fork in the Road

Scorpio, an obstacle is getting in your way this week, but you have the fire to overcome it. Look at the short fence on the 9 of Wands. Like Libra, you can get over it. What matters is where you come down on the other side, because you have an important decision to make in the process.

That’s where Fork in the Road comes in. Be careful with the decision you make. Decisions have consequences, and you need to own whichever one you choose. You don’t do anything halfway, Scorpio, and once you commit, you don’t turn back. So before you cross over that fence, make sure you make an informed choice.

Your words for this week: “I make an informed choice, and I own it.”

♐ Sagittarius

Knight of Swords and Chaos and Conflict

Sagittarius, your adventurous side and your optimism really shine with the Knight of Swords. You are willing to take on anything, and you’re not doing it alone. Look at the bird flying overhead. That’s your guide, and you have some spiritual help this week.

You may need it. Chaos and Conflict shows there’s some of both around you right now. This is where the Knight of Swords comes in, with quick thinking, fast decisions and the will to see it through. You have no trouble handling it, because you are a go-getter. Right?

Your words for this week: “I take it on, and I know I have help.”

♑ Capricorn

10 of Wands and Building Blocks

This week, Capricorn, it’s all about letting go of what no longer serves you. You’re the one who carries the load, and you’ll carry it long after you need to. Look at those torches along the path behind you on the 10 of Wands. Those are life lessons, and you are stronger because of them. You can keep the lessons and still put down the weight.

Building Blocks adds to this. You have a chance to build something new again, and for the better. Building is what you’re good at, Capricorn, one block at a time. Don’t let setbacks stop you from moving forward.

♒ Aquarius

3 of Pentacles and Fork in the Road

Collaboration is the word for you this week, Aquarius. The 3 of Pentacles is about people working on something together, each bringing their own part. Tap into your family and friends to help you through any big projects and tasks coming up this week. You like to do things your own way, Aquarius, and you’re used to working it all out in your own head. This week, let other people in.

With Fork in the Road beside it, you have some important decisions to make, or a direction to choose. You don’t have to make it alone. Let your family or friends help with that decision.

Your words for this week: “I let the people around me help.”

♓ Pisces

Knight of Wands and Community

Pisces, look at you, being the life of the party. The Knight of Wands is all charisma and enthusiasm, the kind that gets a room going, and this week that’s you. People usually think of you as the quiet, feeling one, Pisces, but your warmth is what draws them in.

Community says the same thing. Your supportive and empathetic nature helps others in your own community and those around you. You light up a lot of people this week, Pisces. Enjoy being in the middle of it.

Your words for this week: “I bring my warmth, and I share it with my people.”

Wrap Up

Now that you’ve read yours, here’s what stood out to me. Leo and Virgo pulled the exact same pair. Libra and Scorpio both got the 9 of Wands. Truth Be Told came up for Gemini and Libra, and Fork in the Road came up for Scorpio and Aquarius.

Five of the twelve signs pulled a Wands card, so there’s plenty of fire for those fences and choices. It’s also a week for finishing things off, with the moon waning and a long weekend at the end of it for some of us. And more than one sign is hearing the same thing: you don’t have to do it alone.

That’s the week. Take what fits and leave the rest. These readings are guidance and something to think with, not predictions.
