Three oracle cards turned up twice each this week. Yes, I shuffled. I always shuffle. And one whole suit didn’t bother showing up at all.
There’s a lot of waiting for the right time this week, and a lot of trusting your gut. Some of you are letting go of something and moving on. Some of you are being told to stop worrying about what other people think and just be yourself.
This is week two of the series. All four decks are based on the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot (RWS). Last week the Before Tarot showed the moment before each scene. This week it’s the original RWS deck, the scene itself, the one most people picture when they think of tarot. Next week the After Tarot shows what comes next.
This one covers Sunday, October 18 to Saturday, October 24, 2026. The decks are the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot, created by Arthur Edward Waite with artwork by Pamela Colman Smith, and The Starseed Oracle by Rebecca Campbell, with artwork by Danielle Noel.
Scroll down to your rising sign first, then your sun sign, and see how the two fit together.
♈ Aries
2 of Pentacles and You’re Not for Everyone

Aries, you are grappling with an important decision about your money or your career this week, and it’s not an easy one. Look at the waves rolling behind the juggler on the 2 of Pentacles. That’s the turbulence and the obstacles standing in your way while you try to keep both coins in the air.
This situation is heightened by your oracle card, You’re Not for Everyone. That’s Saturn in the background, the planet of rules, rigidity and structure, and it may have you up against what other people want you to be. Saturn is actually in your sign right now, Aries, so that pressure is real. You’re strong-willed, and you’ve got the fire to get through things and do your own thing. So embrace your weirdness and face your true north. Go with who you really are, not what others expect of you.
Your words for this week: “I know who I am, and I make my own call.”
♉ Taurus
King of Pentacles and Wait

Taurus, your hard work is paying off this week with King of Pentacles energy, and that abundance is yours to receive. Look at the bulls carved into his throne. That’s your sign, and this king is as steady and as comfortable with money as you are. But don’t let all those riches be spent on unnecessary things. You do love your comforts, Taurus, so keep an eye on the spending.
With Wait as your oracle card, you’re being told to be patient and let things unfold in their own time. Things are being woven, so it’s not time yet. Venus, your ruling planet, is retrograde right now too, which makes this a good week to hold onto your money and sit on any big purchase. Patience is one of your strengths, Taurus. Use it.
Your words for this week: “I enjoy what I’ve earned, and I wait for the right time.”
♊ Gemini
The Sun and Deep Cellular Healing

The week is looking mighty bright for you, Gemini. The Sun is shining on you, and it’s time to take a victory lap. Look at the child riding the white horse on The Sun. That’s the joy of seeing the world with fresh eyes, so go out and find a new adventure, the kind that makes you feel like a kid again.
Deep Cellular Healing carries Arcturus energy. The Arcturians are the healers of the Starseed deck, and they’re telling you to prioritize your health and well-being. Look after yourself the way you’d look after that child on the horse, with tender care. Your mind is always on the go, Gemini, so give your body and your nerves some rest too. And take The Sun literally this week. Get outside and soak up some sunshine for your Vitamin D while you can, as fall and winter set in.
Your words for this week: “I enjoy the bright days, and I take good care of me.”
♋ Cancer
6 of Wands and Wait

Cancer, celebrate your wins this week as the 6 of Wands rides in. Whether they’re small wins or big ones, take them in stride. Look at the laurel wreath on the rider’s head and on his wand. That’s recognition, and you’ve earned it. You’re usually the one cheering everyone else on, Cancer, so let someone cheer for you for a change.
Like Taurus, you pulled Wait as your oracle card, so some of those wins may not show up on your schedule. Things are still coming together, and your time to celebrate is on its way. You know how to be patient, Cancer, and how to hold on to what matters. In the meantime, celebrate the small stuff at home with your people.
Your words for this week: “I celebrate the small wins, and I give the big ones time.”
♌ Leo
3 of Swords (reversed) and Lost Lands

Leo, you may have some recovery to do from a major disappointment or a breakup. The 3 of Swords came up reversed for you, so the worst of the hurt is behind you, and those swords are on their way out of that heart. This is a time for healing the part of your soul you lost to that disappointment. But it’s nothing to stress over or wallow in pity about. You have the biggest heart in the zodiac, Leo, and it’s built to bounce back.
The oracle Lost Lands is about reclaiming the part of your soul you might have lost, tapping into it again and making it yours. As the card says, you’ve done this before. You are strong, fearless and unshakable, and you know how to hold your head up high.
Your words for this week: “I’ve healed before, and I’m healing now.”
♍ Virgo
Ace of Swords and Lifting the Veil

Virgo, a new idea needs to cut through this week. Look at the sword on the Ace of Swords, held above the clouds with a crown on its tip. That’s a clear idea cutting through the fog, and the crown is the win that comes from thinking it through.
Lifting the Veil asks you to get to the nitty-gritty of what’s behind that idea. Do your due diligence before you set off, and question anything and everything. Whatever doesn’t align with your purpose or your plan needs to go. Digging into the details is what you do best, Virgo, so this one is right up your alley. Mercury, your ruling planet, turns retrograde on Saturday too, so check your work before you commit.
Your words for this week: “I question everything, and I keep what fits.”
♎ Libra
8 of Wands and All Paths Lead Home

A lot is coming at you this week, Libra. Look at the eight wands flying through the air on the 8 of Wands, all of them coming in fast. That’s your week. You’re methodical at your best, and I’m sure you can tell what’s best for you and what’s just noise to put off or ignore. You like to keep everything in balance, Libra, so don’t try to catch all eight.
All Paths Lead Home is your cue to rely on your intuition and your inner authority to weed out what you need to focus on this week. The woman on the card is walking a labyrinth, and the only way through is one step at a time. Turn your gaze within, and you’ll know which wands are yours.
Your words for this week: “I know what matters, and I let the rest fly by.”
♏ Scorpio
Death and You’re Not for Everyone

Scorpio, this week is all about transformation. The Death card is about change, and it's your sign’s card in the tarot. Letting go of all the things that no longer serve you is the job this week. Just let them die. Look at the sun rising between the two towers in the background. That’s what comes after the ending: a new start.
You’re Not for Everyone reinforces this transformation. Don’t hide your true self, and let in the new people who embrace your uniqueness and your weirdness. You keep your cards close to your chest, Scorpio, but you have permission to be YOU. And with your season starting on Friday, the timing couldn’t be better. By the end of the week, you may be grateful for the change.
Your words for this week: “I let go of what’s done, and I let people see the real me.”
♐ Sagittarius
7 of Wands and All Paths Lead Home

Sagittarius, this week comes in one of two ways. Your 6 of Swords is titled “All Aboard,” and there are three figures on the card. Are you the ferryman, helping those who are struggling and guiding them to calmer waters? Or are you the woman or the child, with struggles of your own this week, needing some guidance to help you navigate to calm waters? Nobody has left the shore yet, so you still get to pick your seat. You’re the traveller of the zodiac, Sagittarius, and whether this voyage is a real trip or a figure of speech, it’s time to get on board.
Either way, Miracles is your oracle card, with a ship to help you navigate to calm waters. Whatever struggles you're facing, or those of others, there's hope the situation can work itself out.
Your words for this week: “I help where I can, and I accept help when I need it.”
♑ Capricorn
Judgement and The Void

Capricorn, this week is all about Judgement, and you are your own worst critic. You set the bar high for everyone, and even higher for yourself. The Judgement card is about rising to answer your true calling. Look at the angel Gabriel blowing his trumpet over the people rising up below. That’s the call, and when it comes, you’ll hear it.
The Void reinforces this. It’s about surrender, and trusting the universe to sound Gabriel’s trumpet when the time comes. Winter is all about recovery and introspection until spring, when the new seedlings are planted. Winter is your season, Capricorn, so you know how to work with it. Take this week to pause and reflect, and most importantly, stop judging yourself and your actions.
Your words for this week: “I go easy on myself, and I trust the call will come.”
♒ Aquarius
The High Priestess and Star Brothers

Aquarius, this week it’s time to put your intuition and what you know in your heart to the test. The High Priestess embodies intuition and the mysteries of the unknown, and this is your purpose. Look at the scroll she holds half hidden in her robe. She knows more than she lets on, and so do you. Embody that High Priestess energy throughout the week.
The Star Brothers oracle gives you permission to let go of past karmic energy and distrust, and to open your heart to yourself and to others. The Star Brothers are here to protect you, help you feel safe and help you trust in loyalty again. You tend to lead with your head, Aquarius, so this week give your heart a turn. Let the High Priestess shine within you.
Your words for this week: “I trust what I know, and I open my heart.”
♓ Pisces
6 of Swords and Star Ancestors

Pisces, this week it’s time to move on to calmer waters. The 6 of Swords is about moving on from something that’s no longer serving you. Look at the water: it’s rough on one side of the boat and smooth up ahead. That’s where you’re headed. Or you’re the ferryman, helping someone else out of their turbulent waters to somewhere safer. You’re a natural helper, Pisces, so either seat suits you.
Star Ancestors ask you to look a little deeper at what’s in that boat. The swords come along for the ride, and so do the lessons. There’s old wisdom in what you’ve been through, and it’s what gets you across. If you’re feeling stuck, do something different and change your point of view. You’re the old soul of the zodiac, Pisces, so trust the part of you that remembers and knows.
Your words for this week: “I move on to calmer waters, and I trust what I know deep down.”
Wrap Up
Now that you’ve read yours, here’s what stood out to me. Three oracle cards came up twice: You’re Not for Everyone for Aries and Scorpio, Wait for Taurus and Cancer, and All Paths Lead Home for Libra and Sagittarius. I shuffled. I promise I shuffled. Four Major Arcana cards showed up too: The Sun, Death, Judgement and The High Priestess. And not one Cup all week. Last week, the Pentacles stayed home.
The 6 of Swords is back, too. Last week Sagittarius pulled it from the Before Tarot, and nobody had left the shore yet. This week Pisces gets the original, and the boat is on its way to calmer water. That’s the series doing exactly what it’s meant to. And Scorpio pulled Death, Scorpio’s own card, right as Scorpio season starts.
The sky has a lot going on. The First Quarter Moon is on Sunday, so the moon is still growing. Keep at whatever you wrote down at the new moon. The Sun moves into Scorpio on Friday and meets Venus, which is still retrograde. Then Mercury turns retrograde on Saturday, and it stays that way until November 13, the same day Venus turns direct. So double-check your plans, your messages and the fine print, and look twice at love and money. Taurus and Cancer both pulled Wait this week, and Mercury seems to agree.
Next week it’s the After Tarot, where we see what happens next.
That’s the week. Take what fits and leave the rest. These readings are guidance and something to think with, not predictions.
If you’d like a reading of your own, you can book one here. You’ll find everything else I do at dustarot.com.
See you next Friday.
