The Hunter’s Moon is full on Sunday night, and it’s asking what you’re ready to let go of. Good timing, because this week’s cards are full of fresh starts and fire. Two signs pulled the exact same pair, and a few more cards showed up twice. Yes, I shuffled. I always shuffle.
Things are getting loose this week. It’s a week about what happens once you let go of the handle, and about choosing your words with care while you do it.
We’re in week three of the four-week Rider-Waite-Smith series. Two weeks ago, the Before Tarot showed the moment before each scene. Last week, the original deck gave us the scene itself. This week, the After Tarot shows what comes next. So whatever your card shows, it has already happened, and the question is what you do now.
This one covers Sunday, October 25 to Saturday, October 31, 2026. The decks are After Tarot: One Moment After by Pietro Alligo, with the guidebook by Corrine Kenner and artwork by Giulia Francesca Massaglia, and the Intuitive Whispers Oracle by Maude Hirst, with artwork by Lori Menna. Kenner gives every card its own title, and a few of them are worked into the readings.
Read your rising sign first, then your sun sign, and see how the two fit together.

New this week, I’m pulling one extra card for all of us. If you don’t know your rising sign, or you read every sign anyway, this one’s yours too.
Card for Everyone
Ace of Swords
This week’s card for all of us is the Ace of Swords, representing a fresh start in how you think and speak. The falcon appears tamed in this scene, waiting for the hunt, which fits the Hunter’s Moon full in Taurus on Sunday night. The sword dangling from the hand represents the air power of the Swords suit. So with Mercury retrograde all week, keep your thoughts and your voice steady, and when it’s time to speak, be quick and to the point. Truth cuts both ways, so know what you’re letting loose before you speak.
Your words for this week: “I think clearly, and I say what I mean.”
♈ Aries
Ace of Wands and Become Your Own Priority

Aries, the wand is now struck into the ground, and this week you are ready for action. The Ace of Wands represents the fire signs, and you are one of them. In place of the original wand, the hand holds a salamander, a creature of fire. This is the beginning of a journey so exciting it’s too hot to handle. Set a containment area so your fire doesn’t rage out of control, and be careful when you’re playing with fire so you don’t get burned.
With Become Your Own Priority as your oracle card, don’t let all that excitement and fire make you lose yourself. You’re the first sign of the zodiac, so it fits that this week’s journey begins with you, your passions and your desires. Go for it.
Your words for this week: “I go after what I want, and I keep my fire in check.”
♉ Taurus
Ace of Wands and Let This Be Your Sign

Taurus, like Aries, this week is about letting your passion flourish with fire and gusto. You’re making your mark with what you desire, and now is the time to act. For some signs, this much fire is too hot to handle, but you’re an earth sign, and your detail is the wand itself. It’s now planted in the ground and sprouting new leaves. You take your time getting started, Taurus, but once something takes root, it grows.
With Let This Be Your Sign as your oracle card, signs are showing up this week telling you that you’re ready and able to pursue your passion. And with the full moon in your sign starting the week, that’s your first sign to let go of the negative thoughts and hesitation. Put them behind you, and the steps ahead lead to a clear path.
Your words for this week: “I let go of my doubts, and I let my passion grow.”
♊ Gemini
The Sun and Clear Limiting Beliefs

Gemini, you pulled The Sun again this week. Last week, in the original deck, there was one child. Now there are two, which suits the twins of the zodiac. With the full moon this week, now is the time to do that full moon ritual. Write down everything that was holding you back, put it in a burning bowl and light it ablaze, with The Sun as your inspiration. Once you’ve got all that negative energy out of your system, this is a time for playfulness. Be like the toddlers on the card, playful with an enthusiasm that is unbridled and pure, without reservations or inhibitions. Time to set out in glory this week.
With Clear Limiting Beliefs as your oracle card, clear out those limiting beliefs during your full moon ritual, so you can rise like the phoenix on the card, shining as radiant as the sun on both cards.
Your words for this week: “I burn what holds me back, and I play like a kid again.”
♋ Cancer
The Sun and Clear Limiting Beliefs

Cancer, you pulled the exact same pair as Gemini, so the full moon is calling you too. You’re ruled by the Moon, so this one is close to home, and yet your tarot card is The Sun. Look at the stone wall behind the two kids. They feel safe enough to play because something has their back. That’s how you work, Cancer. Once home and family feel secure, you let your guard down. This week, let your inner child out to play and enjoy the warmth.
With Clear Limiting Beliefs as your oracle card, think about what you’ve been holding onto. That crab grip of yours is great for protecting the people you love, but not so great for old hurts and old stories about yourself. Let them go under the full moon, and spread your wings like the bird on the card.
Your words for this week: “I let go of old hurts, and I let myself play.”
♌ Leo
Five of Wands and Ground from the Root

Leo, this week the chaos is over. In the original Five of Wands, everyone is swinging at each other. Now the fighting has stopped, and most of the guys are sitting down to catch their breath. So who might you be in this scene? Yup, the guy in the red coat, the only one still standing. He’s the group's natural-born leader, willing to guide the others through the task at hand this week. When everyone else is spent, Leo, you’re the one who comes up with Plan B and gets things moving again.
The Ground from the Root oracle reminds you to stay grounded in your thoughts and actions while you take the lead. Go out in nature this week, take a couple of deep breaths and connect to the Earth. That way, the guidance you offer is grounded and thoughtful as you lead others.
Your words for this week: “I stay grounded, and I lead the way.”
♍ Virgo
Two of Wands and Explore Fullness

Virgo, this week someone joins you in your worldly affairs and helps you watch over your dominion. In the original Two of Wands, the man stands alone with the world in his hand. Now what’s his is hers. Partnership plays a key role this week, and the balance and duality of the masculine and feminine hold the world in their hands, helping you prosper in what you hold dear. That might be a stretch for you, Virgo. You like things done right, and usually that means doing them yourself. This week, let someone else hold the other side.
With Explore Fullness as your oracle card, now that you have a partner, explore the world you hold in your hands together, with fullness and an open heart, trusting each other fully in the process.
Your words for this week: “What’s mine is yours, and I trust the person beside me.”
♎ Libra
Justice and Emotions Are Energy in Motion

Libra, this week is about finding fairness and truth in others. On the Justice card, a king in ermine and a man in rags kneel side by side. No matter someone’s stripe, rich or poor, you want to get to the bottom of what is fact and what is fiction. Fittingly enough, Justice is your sign’s own card, and she holds the scales of balance, the emblem of Libra. She also holds a double-edged sword, because fairness cuts both ways, so give everyone a fair hearing.
The Emotions Are Energy in Motion oracle reminds you to let yourself feel the full depth of your emotions as they arise, giving them space to be felt and released through the body. Once you’ve felt it and let it go, it won’t cloud your judgment as you seek truth and fairness. You’d rather keep the peace, Libra, but bottling it up only tips the scales.
Your words for this week: “I hear everyone out, and I let myself feel it too.”
♏ Scorpio
King of Swords and What Is Meant for You Will Find You

Scorpio, this week is about grounding your thoughts and definitely releasing those negative ones. With the full moon at the start of the week, let them go, like the King of Swords thrusting his sword deep into the ground. Two weeks ago, in the Before Tarot, this same sword was still being handed to you. Now it’s planted. A falcon is perched on your arm, waiting for the order that could change the course of your fate and destiny. You have the power to make things happen, and now, with a clear head, you can.
With What Is Meant for You Will Find You as your oracle card, it’s all about surrendering, letting time unfold and not forcing outcomes. What is meant to be, will be. Giving up control doesn’t come easy to you, Scorpio, so let that falcon rest on your arm just a little longer before you give the order.
Your words for this week: “I clear my head, and I trust the timing.”
♐ Sagittarius
Four of Wands and What Is Meant for You Will Find You

Sagittarius, you've built solid foundations this week with the Four of Wands. In the original card, everyone is celebrating under the garland. Now the harvest cart is loaded and the oxen are pulling, so it’s time for the adventure to begin after the celebrations. Your adventurous side is craving it, and this card is your sign to go for it. Once the road is calling, Sagittarius, you’ve never been one to stay at the party too long.
Along that new journey, What Is Meant for You Will Find You reminds you that the pleasant surprises come in due time. You don’t have to chase every one of them down. Scorpio pulled this oracle too, but where Scorpio needs to wait, you get to keep moving and let the good things catch up with you.
Your words for this week: “I head out on the road, and I let the good things find me.”
♑ Capricorn
Two of Swords and Tap into Your Sacral Power

Capricorn, this week is all about Judgement, and you are your own worst critic. You set the bar high for everyone, and even higher for yourself. The Judgement card is about rising to answer your true calling. Look at the angel Gabriel blowing his trumpet over the people rising up below. That’s the call, and when it comes, you’ll hear it.
The Void reinforces this. It’s about surrender, and trusting the universe to sound Gabriel’s trumpet when the time comes. Winter is all about recovery and introspection until spring, when the new seedlings are planted. Winter is your season, Capricorn, so you know how to work with it. Take this week to pause and reflect, and most importantly, stop judging yourself and your actions.
Your words for this week: “I go easy on myself, and I trust the call will come.”
♒ Aquarius
Seven of Cups and Let Go of Control

Aquarius, this week the Seven of Cups presents you with a lot of options. But in the After Tarot, it seems you have made your choice. You chose riches and possessions over the dreams in the other cups. There is nothing wrong with that, but be careful what you wish for. You are not leaving empty-handed, but you might be getting more than you bargained for. Notice the devilish serpent wrapped around your waist. In the original card, it sat in a cup of its own. Now it came with the jewels.
Your tarot card shows the trap, and the Let Go of Control oracle card shows the way out. People think they have everything and are in complete control, only to realize that everything they own, owns them. Nobody values their freedom more than you do, Aquarius, so make sure what you’re holding onto isn’t holding onto you.
Your words for this week: “I choose what I keep, and I keep my freedom.”
♓ Pisces
King of Wands and Explore Fullness

Pisces, this week it is time to honour your confidence and passion from the journey you have taken over the past couple of weeks. Last week you were crossing to calmer water in the 6 of Swords. It was a rough one, but feel the energy of this King of Wands. He holds the salamander in his hand, knowing you have the fire in you, and the wand is now anchored into the earth. Everything is in place now, so enjoy it. You don’t often give yourself credit, Pisces, so this week, take it.
Enjoy it you should. With the Explore Fullness oracle card, you can now take a deep breath and embody the fullness you created in yourself. Let the water’s energy wash over you as you smell the flowers. For a water sign, there’s no better place to land.
Your words for this week: “I made it through, and I let myself enjoy it.”
Wrap Up
Now that you’ve read yours, here’s what stood out to me. Gemini and Cancer pulled the exact same pair: The Sun and Clear Limiting Beliefs. Aries and Taurus both got the Ace of Wands. On the oracle side, What Is Meant for You Will Find You came up for Scorpio and Sagittarius, and Explore Fullness for Virgo and Pisces. And Virgo, the Ace of Swords you pulled last week is now everybody’s card. I shuffled. I promise I shuffled.
Half of you pulled a Wands card, six signs out of twelve, so there’s plenty of fire this week, and not one Pentacle. The week even closes its own loop. It opened with the Ace of Wands, a hand holding a salamander and a wand taking root, and Pisces finished it with the King of Wands, salamander in hand and wand planted in the earth.
A tip of the hat to Corrine Kenner, who groups the cards by number in her guidebook. Aces are Starting Points, and The Sun, at 19, adds up to 10 and sits under Completion and Success. This week brought three Aces, counting the Card for Everyone, and two Suns. Something wraps up, something starts. In her astrology table, the Five of Wands is also Leo’s own card, and Leo is the one who pulled it.
The timing fits too. The Hunter’s Moon is full in Taurus on Sunday night, so start the week by letting go of what you’re done with. Two falcons turned up this week, too, which suits a Hunter’s Moon. Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio all week, through November 13, and Venus is still retrograde, so think before you speak and look twice at matters of the heart. Saturday is Halloween, and the clocks fall back that night, so enjoy the extra hour.
Next week wraps up the series with the RWS Panorama Tarot, which pulls back to show what was outside the picture all along.
That’s the week. Take what fits and leave the rest. These readings are guidance and something to think with, not predictions.
If you’d like a reading of your own, you can book one here. You’ll find everything else I do at dustarot.com.
See you next Friday.
